This last part of Sandy’s course is not easy – for him or for those who love him. However I cannot help but think of all the wonderful years that we spent along the way to here. This photo that Sarah took near our home in New Hampshire strikes me as metaphorical of Sandy’s life: the tracks symbolizing his straight, true, strong character, and the ever-changing scenery representing the many phases of his career – as student, musician, sound engineer, pastor, real estate agent, music teacher, Apple employee (and of course husband and father). The scenery (or phase) may evolve and change, but the character, the integrity, stays the same throughout. I not only have loved this man for 30+ years, but have admired and respected him. Smart, multi-talented, kind, generous – he has made me feel very secure and very loved and brought me much joy in our journey together.
I have and will always value the time I had shared with you both, you have been a blessing in my life
Beautiful and moving. Brought me to tears while filling me with joy with memories of the kind of man Sandy has always been. Someone who always lead by example.
May God abundantly pour his grace and mercy over you both in the days ahead.
My heart and prayers are with you both. ❤️❤️🙏
Gorgeous photo, and wonderful metaphor, Donna and I talked yesterday and we both agreed that even though this has been the toughest part of your lives, you have done your absolute best to make memories, find closure and ultimately achieve peace. This is the true measure of the character and love that your family has. All of the bridesmaid are thinking of you….

So comforting to have the promise that all our hearts will reunite again with the Father.
Sigh. This is beautiful.
You have a glimpse of what he will be, in eternity, in God’s presence.

For us, the journey will have been too short but for Sandy he will hear the words “Well done thou good and faithful servant”.
Sending my love and prayers and many thanks for all of the spiritual gifts you both bestowed on me and so many others. We love you and are grateful for your time invested and given to our growth much love. We shall meet again and it will be glorious. In His grace. Joanna and Dave.
Thank you for sharing your heart with us, Christy. God gave you a gem when he gave you Sandy “to love and to hold from this day forward.” And he received a treasure in you. You continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
<3 There are no words. Hugs.
Thank you all for your loving comments, thoughts and prayers. They mean so much to all of us!

I don’t know you Christy, but I am quite sure you would be a friend, if I did. I had no idea that Sandy had done all these things. I only knew/know the clarinetist who was very serious about his craft. We continue to think of you and delight in knowing that Sandy has someone at his side who is so caring and articulate in a sincere way. I hope that one day I will meet you and see Sandy again too.
How appropriate Christy… Sandy loves trains, he had the best train set when we were kids! Also – I remember walking that track with you guys! All of us together – with mom and all the kids. Happy times! We certainly are lucky to have this journey together. Always figured Sandy would be the conductor forever though. Even though he is the youngest of me and Randy he is such a natural leader. I feel as though I have been derailed, and I can only pray that God must have something amazing planned for him . Love you, see you guys tomorrow. XXXOOO

Remember the time Christy, that Sandy was talking about Pastor Chuck and how he always thought well of people? Sandy gave an illustration of Chuck; that even if he saw one of his pastors sacrificing a chicken, he would’ve declared, “Isn’t it nice that he’s helping that man with his chicken”
I’ve never forgotten that, and I’ve never forgotten Sandy’s illustration of a gracious heart. That is just one of many many things that have stayed with me and have been passed down to my children and now to my grandchildren. What a legacy, a heritage in the Lord!
We have always been thankful for yours and Sandy’s love and obedience in the Kingdom of God.
We love you, Joel and Lisa
Philippians 2:17 But even if I am being poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice and share my joy with you all.
Love you so much.
You guys have left me with a mark that i will never forget. Sandy’s meek & humbleness, as well as having character & humility, and both of you having a gentle and humorous spirit, witnessed to me and my family,
And to top it off, God’s gifting of the arts, even to your continuing family, blows me away.
Can’t wait to catch up to Sandy, where we can once again become neighbors, in the many mansions.
